Through his film Heatwave the Greek director Fokion Xenos presents an exploration of various stop-motion techniques of the past and how they can be modernised. In his work he uses claymation in his own unique way, combining it with cutout techniques and VFX updating the look and feel of the traditional claymation. He will share with the audience his personal journey of problem solving from the research and planning to postproduction of his multi-awarded NFTS graduation film.
